With dropping water levels this week and rising temperatures, the smallmouth bite is starting to pick up consistently. Warmer conditions have them more active, and they’re hitting well on natural presentations. This one was landed on a crawfish imitation, a solid choice as the fish key in on bottom forage. Now’s a great time to get out and take advantage of the improving bite!
